TeamFootWorks Advanced Training Program with Coach Jonathan Mederos

The advanced program is designed for the highly motivated athlete who wants to improve their running performance. It’s a chance to work with a virtual coach one-to-one who will prescribe workouts that specifically meet your needs on a day-to-day basis. Choose a goal race at any distance (from 800m to the marathon) and the coach will create a schedule using the same training principles that elite athletes use to prepare for their races. The schedule includes ancillary work such as strength and mobility exercises to help keep you injury free and improve running economy. The coach will interact with you on a daily basis, provide access to his daily teaching materials, connect you with other athletes in the program, and offer early morning meet-ups throughout the week.

    Requirements:

  • Passion for the sport and the desire to bring down your race times
  • Enough time to train throughout the week
  • Willingness to learn how to run without walk breaks even as a beginner
  • Willingness to forego races that do not contribute to the overall goal
  • Open-mindedness and willingness to accept constructive criticism

    Prior running experience:

  • Ability to run almost every day
  • Willingness to provide ongoing feedback to our Coach

Run Your Best South Miami Hospital Twilight 5K
A program specifically designed to train participants to run their personal best at the South Miami Hospital Twilight 5K. This program begins on February 17th.

Program Fees:
$200 for South Miami Hospital Twilight 5K Training Starts February 17
$200 for 4 months prior to your target race, any distance
$250 Training for Miami Marathon, October 2020 to January 2021, Race Day TBA. Includes Hospitality Village.
