A 5K (3.1 mile) run and fitness walk benefit-ing Special Olympics-Miami Dade County, a year-round sports training and

competition program for children and adults with intel-lectual disabilitiesPlease register for this event, supporting Special Olympics Miami-Dade.  You can walk or run (it's only 3 miles) and your registration fee can be your first tax-deductible donation of 2010.  I look forward to seeing you.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of

Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate, giving them continuing

opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts,

skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. Special Olympics

Miami-Dade provides a FREE program that enriches the lives and improves the confidence and self-image of almost 3000

children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We need YOUR help to keep our great program going and growing!
