A Family Fun Zone, music, a BURGER KING®-themed sandcastle design, and more will keep the beach party going while the Hydration Station will refuel everyone after a day of fun in the sun. Why did we pay for chipped bibs when they were not used? Published chip & gun times are identical.

      Hello LL,
The timing chips were used. Timing a race manually takes a squad of volunteers. To give you an idea, one to pull the tab off your bib and keep those tabs in order on a dowel, another to record the finish times. Then another to match up those finish times with your pull tab, then others to enter those times, sort, and rank.

That being said, where are you seeing identical chip and gun times? The only time we’re showing is the chip time.
